As you know, I like to use sites like this as inspiration to show how easy it is to create PowerPoint elearning templates. Free PowerPoint Template. To create it in PowerPoint I combined two shapes. I worked for a multi-billion dollar company that had one official PowerPoint template that had to be used for all things PowerPoint regardless of what was being built. Microsoft’s Online Office site is a great resource for free PowerPoint templates. I’m not sure about you, but I don’t do too many family PowerPoint presentations.

If you can step away from the “bullet point” mindset and all of the complaints, you’ll see that PowerPoint’s got a lot to offer those who build elearning courses. It doesn’t need to have that PowerPoint look. PowerPoint offers a pretty good selection of animations that let you mimic a lot of what you see in Flash. Blank screen.
