Philadelphia ASTD Meeting Lot of Fun

Last night I presented at the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of ASTD and ran into a bunch of old friends and made some new ones. The meeting was well attended by a large number of ASTD members, some wanted see what the hype was about, some had plans to work with clients in 3D virtual worlds and some were just curious.

Basically Second Life is the Matrix , as in, “Wake Up Neo, the Matrix has you.” You can learn a little more by checking out my previous entry on the subject, Get a "Second Life." Second Life is a virtual world in which people can act, react and function as if they were in the actual physical world.

ASTD TechKnowledge 2008, Lots of Fun

Arrived back from the ASTD TechKnowledge 2008 conference late the other night (3:00am) but the conference was worth it. We had a lively group of about 10 participants some of who had never even logged into Second Life before and some who were practically pros. I got to see a lot of people and make some really good connections.
