The ability to record audio in real time or post time makes a lot of sense and eliminates the need for using Audacity (albeit it is a wonderful and free product). There is something wrong when a free and open source product like Audacity can do it, yet a product that costs hundreds of dollars cannot. Valuable Features – New.

Audacity – I use this all the time. Output video compressor and audio formt output included. Wink - I have mentioned them before because plenty of people feel that this is close to Captivate. Personally, it is more like Camtasia, but you can be the judge.

Audacity – It is a free, open-source audio tool. . – Instead of having your learners call you on how to do this, they can use this offering in your platform – “show me, tell me, let me do it” approach. Can match many you find in authoring tools. Yeah, most folks know it, but a lot more do not.

If you prefer to have multiple layers of recordings for one record, I strongly recommend using Audacity (which is free), then save and export the recording to Storyline. As a result, I recorded in Audacity and then used various plugins to enhance it, including the changing of tempo and pitch. I hate that. Final Preview.

Their video encode program is lackluster, you are better off using Audacity – which is free. Engage is the only product you can edit the HTML – using a HTML Kit. Granted the changes are limited but at least it is something. The rest you can’t. . The Cons – Articulate Studio. You can only go so far with this product.

Audio editing – still no match to Audacity, a free program. Cognetys offers it too but it is via their authoring tool partner, dominKnow Claro. Authoring Tools. Avatars, Image characters, backgrounds that are business or work oriented.

Audacity which is free – destroys it. If you are an Authorware fanatic missing the old days, you are still going to miss it – because while these capabilities are being added to tools they are still not at the level of Authorware. I for one, like that because it has run its course (look a pun!). Audio Editing. Hmm.not much.
