This can be seen without having to search through the published HTML code, but only if a preference is enabled. Under the “General” tab check “Show HTML-published object names in object properties.”

Articulate, Captivate and Lectora – Do they deserve your praise?

Engage is the only product you can edit the HTML – using a HTML Kit. Their video encode program is lackluster, you are better off using Audacity – which is free. Articulate loves to say that Engage is used often, but from folks I have spoken with who use the product, that doesn’t seem to be the case.

I use the open source tool Audacity for audio editing. Honestly, PowerPoint is a decent tool for simple image editing. I often use PowerPoint to remove backgrounds or make other quick changes. I use Camtasia for screen recording and video editing. OpenShot is a free, open source video editor. Microsoft Office.

Audacity which is free – destroys it. Action script programming, HTML extensions and other advanced feature sets targeting e-learning developers. I for one, like that because it has run its course (look a pun!). Audio Editing. Another feature on the rise. The problem though is it is extremely basic. Hmm.not much.
