CP Command Mute doesn’t mute triggered audio

Hi,

I created a custom mute/unmute button.  I tried cpCmndMute as well as cpCmndVolume.   I even tried the 2 in one script.

The problem is that I can mute the audio on the timeline but it does not mute audio triggered from a button click (Play Audio command)

Other than stopping the triggered audio, is there a way to mute this as well?

It seems to work if the triggered audio is not already playing and you click the mute button but it does not work if the triggered audio is playing when you click the mute button.

I hope you’ll find the necessary information to have your problem solved? Please, tell me if that is the case.

It was perfect!  Thank you for helping us “learn how to fish” rather than simply “giving us a meal” :=)

That made my day!!! Thanks so much, I don’t like just to offer a one-time solution, indeed.

Maybe have a look at these blogs:

http://blog.lilybiri.com/1-action-equals-5-toggle-buttons

It could clarify the difference between audio clips. Audio clips started with ‘Play Audio’ command can be stopped using the ‘Stop Triggered Audio’ command.
