With the acquistion of MacroMedia it looks like Adobe will be leaping into the collaboration space even more quickly. Macromdia currently owns Breeze, and the Flash Communications Server (FCS) which is the underlying technology for many of the real time audio and video collaboration service offerings.

Audio recording and editing. Work offline with their optional Studio Server – extra charge. Themes, interactions. Collaboration.

I especially like the intuitive gestures included in Draft for placing squares, triangles and circles on slides, as well as more powerful objects, such as text, images, video, audio and web objects, all with a simple finger gesture on the screen. It really is impressive. And that is just the beginning with this app. Conclusion.

Macromedia Authorware and similar products. Macromedia Director. The Macromedia set typically would toss in Director, which created an equally impressive array of course capabilities, but a deep learning curve. Eventually, Macromedia Dreamweaver came into the picture. HTML and Javascript. That was pretty much it.
