LITMOS | MONDAY, JUNE 6, 2011 Articulate Studio '09: Yes,They Are E-Learning Heroes Both of these tools make an excellent main development platform. I'm not going to lie--I know a lot of people who create entire courses using Engage templates and interactions. Plus, you can free-form much of the look and feel of your questions -- a big difference from other tools. The tool is so flexible, the company is so friendly, and the users are so passionate that an "anything is possible" feeling surrounds the tool itself. If you want to ramp up your ability to use a tool, there's no better place. Litmos community! Really short. Why not? Cheers! MORE >> -
TONY KARRER | MONDAY, JANUARY 26, 2009 12 eLearning Predictions for 2009 tools. Strategies will move much slower than organizations who adopt easy to use tools and make tactical use of these tools. LEARNING VISIONS | MONDAY, JANUARY 7, 2008 Cammy Beans Learning Visions: The Value of Instructional Designers Many instructional designers ( Christy Tucker , Wendy Wickham ) build their own courses using tools like Captivate. I come from an old-school approach: I sort of understand the technology, but I leave the graphics and programming expertise to others. He says its important that instructional designers understand the tools and technology that are out there (as an architect understands building materials), but an instructional designer should be tool-independent and "technology-agnostic".
