When inserting images into a Captivate project, you have two choices via the Insert menu: Image and Image Slide. For most developers looking to simply insert an image on a slide, choosing Insert > Image and then opening the desired image is a common process, one that doesn't need a great deal of afterthought. for stress sake.

With this option selected, the duration of each slide in the lesson will be shown to your learners. However, if your lesson is an interactive simulation, it doesn't make much sense to show a slide duration since the exact amount of time spent on the interactive slide is up to the learner.

Adding an image onto a Captivate slide is as simple as choosing Insert > Image. Once the image has been added to the project, adding additional instances of the image to more slides is a snap. When importing voiceover audio into Adobe Captivate, I always suggest that audio be added directly to the slide instead of objects on the slide ( Audio > Import to > Slide ). By importing audio directly onto the slide, you'll have more direct control over the audio. by Kevin Siegel.

Click the Copy From Slide Notes button and those notes will instantly appear in the panel (there's no extra typing required. The resulting audio file appears at the bottom left of the slide.

If you'd like to repeat an object over a majority of your slides, one of the easiest ways to proceed is to select the object and, on the Properties panel, Timing group, select Display for rest of project. Alternatively, you can create and use master slides. Go to the slide where you'd like the object to disappear.

Adding closed captions to a slide is relatively simple. Select a slide that contains audio and, at the bottom of the dialog box, click the Closed Caption button. If you have several slides with audio, you'll need several closed captions, which will take time. Instead, choose Audio > Edit > Slide.

When the learner plays the lesson again, the lesson will resume playing from the first slide that was not flagged. option, if selected, will allow the learner to click slides on the TOC and jump around the lesson. During playback, you realize that there is something on some of the slide backgrounds that you simply don't want the learner to see. However, if the problem exists on several slides, you would be looking at a lot of editing. Here's how: Right-click the slide needing the blur effect and choose Find Background in the Library.

A Motion Path allows you to control not only where an object appears on your slide, but the path it takes across the slide before it exits. One thing you can do to lower the size of your published video is control the quality of your slides. You can apply the settings to individual slides, or for all of the project slides. All you need to do is insert a scorable object, such as a clickbox, on the slide where you want the review to begin.
