Michael Allen urges designers to provide "meaningful and memorable learning experiences." The learner is very unlikely to benefit from it as it will be irrelevant to them at that point and it will simply impede the learning of the really important stuff. Admit to the learner upfront that the content may be dry. Set the expectation.

They manage people who design instruction, people who manage LMS, and they are the in-between people between upper management + clients, and the people who provide the design and training. world, I see a lot of benefit from the manager having been an IDer and having a MS degree in ID. You truly dont need an ID education for that.

Our customers benefit from low-cost and self-management with no technical knowledge required. I've seen some demos of the reporting customizations our team is doing on Moodle and it does provide a lot of what is needed. They comfort managers who think they are in control but don't provide any guidance on making improvements.

A learning platform used to do – it had the ability to target a specific group of learners and provide a nice catalog, dividing into groups of courses and targeting groups of people to push out the right content. If you can decouple the back end engine from the front end interface, then there’s a lot of benefit. Why not for learning?
