For retail shops I like the unique feature tied to OJT (on the job training). While I’m not a fan of OJT – from a training standpoint – I know plenty of people are – especially in retail and manufacturing. They understand the value of selling to training providers and clients going B2B.

Anyone who has ever provided training at a company or place, where the employees do not fully buy into it, has experienced it first hand. It was clear that not even LXP vendors (as a whole) knew – which explained why they targeted L&D, ignoring the other monster in the room, training. Was it though really so different?

Change of messaging, and the seemingly misunderstanding by vendors that there is a difference between training and L&D. What I hear a lot is “L&D” and not training, when they identify who they are targeting for the tools, platforms, etc. These are just the basics, but I have yet to see a system track them. .
