Without knowing and understanding these basics, we can't claim to be successfully practicing our subject - the subject of instructional design. For my friend and many others out there who have often called and written to me asking about good websites and books for learning the basics of Instructional Design AND for others who don't know me but are no less interested in a good list of resources… well, here's my top 10! Tags: Blog While they can be fun, visually exciting and effective, they can also require a lot of development and be difficult to create. It’s worth taking the time to get your approach to interactions right because they’re key to making e-learning effective. Think about it… do you remember how to cook by reading the recipe or by having a go at cooking it? Here are our top five tips for creating effective interactions…. Make them relevant. Makes sense, after all, most learning professionals in the industry are arguing that ADDIE is not relevant today. have always thought that as a method, the E looped back to A in ADDIE. SPICY LEARNING | FRIDAY, JULY 9, 2010 Getting to grips with instructional design Three months ago, completely new to the world of e-learning, I was given some time by Saffron to do as much research as I could on instructional design and effective learning strategies before starting my first project. It was rather daunting, but I leapt to the challenge and one of the ways I found out what good instructional design looks like was to review some of Saffron’s past courses and do some research online.
