Oh, here is my latest directory of LMSs. #10 – Meridian - Despite a web site that should be kicked into outer space (hello, update?), the system itself has a lot to offer. I see it as a platform that could easily be for 1,500 and up users, although it may sit better at 5,000+. Still this is a very nice system and one that I had fun in playing around. Minor tweaks still needed.

Recently, several writers have bemoaned the fact that a) there is often a significant time delay between the submission of papers to academic journals, and the papers actually reaching the reader b) many of the top, elite journals we are expected to publish in are in fact read by a very small percentage of the community the research is intended to reach. In the last several weeks, I have had consumer clients tell me that they are seeking a system that has such a factor. Whether they are using their system for employees, B2B market or a combination of both, this is becoming the standard rather than the secondary. This lack of WOW equally hurts in the demo.
