The rules have changed. Tossing around on a sea of turbulent change, companies that can’t respond to new situations rapidly are sunk. These “strategic inflection points,” as Andy Grove calls these transitional moments, arrive when conditions change and existing businesses do not adapt. Seismic change cannot be delegated.

I've selected a favourite and it's Change Management in Practice by Peter de Jager. Now change management isn't a new topic for me, but somehow Peter's approach seems simpler, more memorable and more applicable to what I do. What people resist is being changed - change that they haven't instigated for themselves.

I've been dipping into The art of changing the brain by James E Zull (Stylus, 2002) for some time now. However, if you just want to know what the main recommendations are, then here's a summary of the notes I took: Main premise: "Learning is change. It is change in ourselves because it is change in the brain.
