Twitter has become a pretty great tool to help with socializing at conferences. Here are a few of the things we've been doing Twitter as Social Chat At both DevLearn and TechKnowledge , we created a hashtag and created a specific Twitter account that was the hub. We also encouraged everyone to put in the hashtag. Great use of the Twitter stream!

It is more about why people hang on to ideas that ample evidence indicates are not true. It is really the very essence of education and learning as isn't just about all learning a matter of processing new ideas to replace older less well-formed ideas. It wasn’t tested, it was just an idea. One of the core ideas was the law of the few , or the notion that a few key types of people help to speed social communication. They are the people who dedicate a great deal of their lives to selling people on their ideas. It’s a good graphic summary of my consulting practice.

When writing blog posts I draw ideas from a pretty wide range of areas and my reading over the last year has been equally wide. Cliff's book provides great ideas on how to accentuate the positive and minimise the less desirable aspects of the backchannel. 10+1) the art of the idea. Tags: Books Ideas Learning a fine line.
