A panel podcast (and related resources) on compliance training

Yesterday I joined a podcast hosted by Craig Taylor to discuss compliance training – what’s wrong with it, what’s right with it and what would make it better. Sam Borrough and Colin Hawksworth also joined in, and you can listen to it on Craig’s blog.

Craig refers to the eLN’s event on innovation in compliance training last year – there’s a summary of the event on Craig’s blog. I’ve also blogged about my survey highlighting the disconnect between the compliance training we’re used to and the compliance training we want to see, and posted the slides from my presentation.

What’s clear, from the response to that event and from Craig’s podcast, is that there’s a widespread recognition that much compliance training falls short of the mark and an appetite to do it better – hopefully some of these resources will give you some ideas and practical tips to do just that.

This was my first time participating in a podcast and I really enjoyed it. Having seen how easy it was to arrange and host, and how quickly Craig put it up on the blog afterwards, I’m definitely inspired to give it a try myself – watch this space!
