As a faculty member opined, they wished they could’ve loaded all the sesssions into their calendar with one click. I resonate with that, because in moments when I might’ve had spare bandwidth to attend a session, I’m more likely to look at my calendar rather than the event page.

Updates on my books

At this calendar inflection, it’s interesting to note how time flies. I was somewhat amazed to find out that my first three books were already out of print! And there are two reasons to keep them out there. For one, because there’s still some interest (I get pinged occasionally). mobile still is changing so fast).

Which incorporates, I suppose, time management similarly, effectively using calendaring, ‘todo’ lists, etc. Thus, you need things like good project management (scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, etc), for one. Even if assigned a project manager, you still need to be personally effective.

For instance, I’m now using Apple’s Reminders to track ‘todos’, along with its Calendar. (I’m I also don’t work a regular job, and have gotten reasonably effective at using tools to get things done. I’m cheap, so I’ve used fancier tools, but have found these suffice.)
