They can be true standalone video courses. Video capturing – Overall, if it exists in a LMS it is as a Web Cam capture.

Online Learning Works – So Why are Schools Failing at it?

The main premise was this: Bunch of people sitting in a room, classroom, wherever with a TV tuned into the instructor/teacher and a TV Camera on the students/people in that room. Distance learning IMO was an absolutely horrible way to learn regardless if you were in K-12 or higher education. Schoology is a mixed bag. Bottom Line.

I have an awesome digital video cam, but I readily admit, when I go to places outside of the US on my speaking engagements, I take my smartphone with video oomph. . Not my digital cam. Yes, cameras themselves were aplenty, but video cams – sorry, not even close. And I think many do. And I think many do.
