Adobe Captivate. Camtasia. As the evolution of e-learning continues, the rapid content authoring tools (RCAT) market follows suit. This is a growing market with new vendors showing up, but at the same time, others disappearing. Is it PowerPoint converted to Flash? Microsoft Word converted to Flash? Templates with some learning objects?

Camtasia Studio + Camtasia for Mac = Cool on iPad - Visual Lounge , July 26, 2010 I may have a new addiction. One of the reasons I got the iPad was so I could watch and show Camtasia videos on it - the larger 9.7 I'll be sharing thoughts on Adobe Captivate 5 for various audiences and interests over the next several weeks.

RJ Jacquez, Senior Product Evangelist at Adobe, posted a sneak peek of Captivate for Mac on his blog last week after demoing it at the Adobe Learning Summit / DevLearn 09 in San Jose (an event I was unable to attend). Second (and this is the alarming tidbit): RJ said Captivate for Mac is currently in alpha status. prerelease installed.

The final product was produced by Articulate Presenter, but I mixed in Del.icio.us, Camtasia, phpBB, Captivate, QuickCam pro movies, a Ning community, Articulate Quizmaker quizzes, hotspot quiz and even a Canadian Bear! How can you mix all kinds of software's AND social media apps? really enjoyed the first half of the year and so now.
