.   If you plan to import a PowerPoint presentation into Adobe Captivate, it's a good idea to first resize the PowerPoint presentation from within PowerPoint. If you resize the PowerPoint presentation, the size of the imported slides you see in Captivate will match the width and height of your Captivate project.

I needed to convert my 65 page PowerPoint to into captivate. Then I had an idea! What if I copy and paste the text from PowerPoint into a text box in Captivate. Once over in Captivate you can format the text how you like and save as a style for repeated use. Although Storyline does give you a better start in my opinion.

I often hear from Captivate developers who are required to output smaller and smaller SWFs, while making their lessons more and more interactive. There are some things that you can do while working in Captivate that may lower the size of the published SWF. Avoid Animations Adding animations to your lessons is a great idea.

I attempt to export an XML file from Captivate for translation purposes, and when I click “yes” to open the results I get text that appears to say I have a password set in the Captivate project. Any ideas or suggestions? I am using the most updated version of Captivate 2019. Thank you, Andrew.
