.   If you plan to import a PowerPoint presentation into Adobe Captivate, it's a good idea to first resize the PowerPoint presentation from within PowerPoint. If you resize the PowerPoint presentation, the size of the imported slides you see in Captivate will match the width and height of your Captivate project.

I needed to convert my 65 page PowerPoint to into captivate. What if I copy and paste the text from PowerPoint into a text box in Captivate. Never just copy the full text box from PowerPoint or it will paste as an image of text and not the actual text. Well this workflow worked really good.

  Beginning with Adobe Captivate 4, and continuing in Captivate 5, you can create a link to a PowerPoint presentation during the import process by simply selecting the Link option on the Convert PowerPoint Presentations dialog box. simply choose  Edit > Edit with Microsoft PowerPoint > Edit Presentation.
