Google Search has never been on my list before, but it really should have been. I use Google Scholar search, blog search, or other advanced options as needed. Captivate is my tool of choice for simulations and interactive learning. Google is one of the first places I go when I need to learn something specific.

Q: I learn technology easily, but I have no experience creating with Captivate, Camtasia, Articulate, Flash or any of the authoring tools I have read are most valued in new hires. I’d focus on Captivate and Articulate Storyline first. Captivate has a bigger market share now, but Storyline is growing in demand.

Search is probably faster, but a chatbot may be a higher quality interaction. It would be an interesting experiment to convert that from Captivate to a chatbot so learners had to type open responses. I have written a little about storytelling research previously, but I’ll do a follow up post on it later. Sessions Day 3.
