IMHO, here are some of the characteristics of a MOOC that offer the possibilities of PS: MOOCs go beyond fixed courses to dynamic context sharing – The “Discussion Forum” that surrounds a MOOC lend itself to dynamic knowledge sharing thus keeping the course content “alive”.

Only to be disillusioned by the lack of engagement on these platforms, empty discussion forums and zero conversations. There is no apparent link between one''s KRAs and performance appraisal and responding to questions on the discussion forum. Often times, a strong case study communicates more than hours of meeting.
