The article resonates with me so much that not only am I dedicating this blog post to letting you know about it, but I've also included it as a reference of sorts for any future presentations and introductory workshops I give on the topic of social media.)

Last week, I had the opportunity to present at a combined ASTD / ISPI Social Learning workshop. particularly like it when the audience challenges me, and in this case, that happened about 60 seconds into the presentation. You can find both on my Case Studies pages.) A lot of it was a rehash of some of the other presentations I have done via webinars, but live and with an active audience. I really like having a live audience.

When you are taking a live workshop and putting it online, you do not have the pressure of designing a sixteen-week curriculum like K-16 educators — All you have to do is cover the equivalent of four to six hours of instruction. also posted on an unsuccessful community of practice case study . For anyone interested in the technology , I discussed how to select social network platforms as we were conducting our Work Literacy workshops. I’m reviewing my resources on communities of practice and synthesizing some of the articles I’ve come across and added to my social bookmarks or blogged about on my Communities Thread .

Our first workshop on Training 2.0 The participants were happy about that the workshop met their expectations. Don't forget to hear what they have to say about the workshop.
The workshop also threw up some interesting insights about Web 2.0.
- ended on a great note on January 31. Vaishnavi has captured it well.
