I am expecting that there may be some barriers I have to overcome due to the fact that this is a big change in how we facilitate training programs, and nobody likes change. I designed and developed a prototype for the first course and it is under review now.

I am currently recording all interactions so I am hoping by changing that setting I will get better performance. The only difference here is that I am using a zipped SCORM package as opposed to a standard.swf file. I am going to start by trying some different SCORM settings and run a few more tests.

I am going to have to invest some time in playing around with Moodle to see if it is worth changing what we are doing now. But then again, there are probably a lot of features that will help with logistical tasks. But will I really know until I try it out??

Something else great about this is if I need to update existing user profiles I can just upload an updated text file and it will make all of the changes. Then I was able to simply copy and paste the report into a text file, upload it to Moodle and Bam, every user profile is setup.

After overriding the permissions my problem was solved but there is no way to retrieve the quiz scores that occured before making the change. Set the "Attempt Quizzes" permission to "Allow" and the "Preview Quizzes" permission to "Prevent."

A Wiki seems like it would be a great way to keep the organization updated on all of the changes. The application is home grown and constantly in development. Feature creep is my worst enemy. Meeting Agenda – Using a Wiki for a meeting agenda is a great way to collaborate on the content of the meeting.

I freaked myself out this morning after making a small change which took down all of my sites on the same domain as my experimental moodle. I had one notification in Moodle telling me that I needed to change a setting in the.htaccess file. I decided to type in the line of code that the Moodle notification told me I needed to change.

To my horror, if a user changes positions or locations I have to move them to a new group in each course site. This means I have to go into each course site and export a grade report to an excel spreadsheet and then merge all of those separate spreadsheets into one big grade report.
