No More Little Sandwiches

At the start of the week, I found PBWiki Putting Image Over My Images - at least they were cute little sandwiches. I had spoken to the Founder of PBWiki in the past and had very nice conversations. I must admit that I felt a little surprised by the sudden change with no notification. Sorry, David and the PBWiki team.

In addition to the real-time editing described above, it also has notifications of changes to people who are collaborating on the document. I recommend pbWiki as an easy to use Wiki solution. The bottom line on most work teams is that you want to have a reliable notification of changes, discussion, etc.

However, I found little value over using separate tools such as Yahoo Groups and a PBWiki. My only problem was that I didn't really have a way to change the class design significantly based on the result and I should have. Through Nuvvo I did receive several registration requests, so it at least offers free advertising.

We will keep all content on PBwiki internal only. Of course, links to internal PBwiki pages can be seen but not accessed. Overall, the set up steps are: Create one PBWiki account with appropriate settings and they will use a single shared password - but changes will be tracked back to the individual.
