It’s very funny stuff! Lynn Schofield Clark in collaboration with her Innovation in Mass Communications class at the University of Denver have produced a very witty video as part of a class mini-project. Only this time it’s not ‘The Office”, it’s “The Class”. Specifically, it is a class on the topic of integrating technology into the face-to-face classroom. Most people have seen at least one episode of Steve Carell’s hit show, The Office. If you haven’t seen an episode then please go here to check one out.

Tonight was the first "Learning in 3D Class" it was totally fun and totally chaotic. It reminded me a lot of the first e-learning classes that I taught, no one was really sure what to do, the software would crash from time-to-time and students and instructors where figuring out what needed to be done. So here are a few lessons learned: Avatar must be off of orientation island before they can teleport (we had some stuck students) A good prerequisite would be for the learner to be off of orientation Be aware of graphic card issues. You need to have the right graphic card to

Now that we’re going to have to pay real money for gasoline and every business process is being second-guessed, business-class air travel is in the cross-hairs. You will be able to tell that my tutor hasn’t gotten to the lesson on editing yet.) It’s always darkest before the dawn. Carlota Perez pegs what we’re going through economically.

I just wrote my final (official) blog post for my summer class about Web 2.0. When someone truly learns – not when they learn to a test, or attend a mandatory online class – but truly masters a topic you’ll know by looking at what they can accomplish.
In my class blog post I talk about a Learning GPS . One of the biggest things I learned this semester is that we have to stop this idea that we can apply old themes and metrics and ways of doing things to these new tools.
