I have shown them how to integrate these into a Wetpaint wiki (probably the best of the bunch at the moment for functionality, ease of use and ad-free response). Hopefully this will encourage all to create content that is engaging and informative. My slideshare set has also created some interest.

Facebook has a lot of potential to be harnessed as a learning tool, but there are questions over whether such an informal tool could, or should be used in formal education. Wiki - I use this tool (usually Wetpaint or Wikispaces) as an open, collaborative space for my student groups to work with.

There were about 7 examples mentioned including Intuit using a Wiki-like system for customers to ask questions/get advice around taxes, using a group blog with students prior to a formal learning event, the US Army's use of collaboration tools to share best practices in Iraq, and several others. Choose the top 3-5. There were a few others.
