My Favorite E-Learning Resources

A couple of weeks ago, I was at ATD TechKnowledge in Las Vegas teaching their Articulate Storyline Certificate program. As with most classes we teach, we have some really good discussions, and I usually follow up with links to some of my favorite e-learning resources we talked about. I find myself referring to some of the same resources over and over again because of how helpful and relevant they are.  So I thought I would share them with all of you.

The Articulate Community

There’s almost too much great stuff here to absorb.  Here are my favorite resources on their site.

E-Learning Uncovered

Here are a few resources from our own website that answer questions that tend to come up in class a lot.

Other Resources From Around the Web

  • How Long Does It Take to Create Learning: This has great information for planning and budgeting purposes (and convincing your boss that e-learning takes longer than he or she might think!).
  • Cathy Moore’s Action Mapping: This is a great process to help you organize content, negotiate with subject-matter experts about what’s really important, and make sure your courses have meaningful interactions.
  • ATD Learning Technologies Blog: This blog features folks from all over the industry, meaning you’ll get lots of different perspectives.
