The Business of Learning: A Guild Master Panel. Jeff provided free templates for creating xAPI wrappers for videos. She showed examples of each trend, but then showed how she adapted one specific example of each for elearning. I ended up doing impromptu demos of Twine and of editing illustrated characters from eLearning Art.

Last week was the Learning Solutions Conference 2023. One of the ways I have learned to get more out of the conference is to both take notes during the sessions and then to review those notes after I get home. The Guild program team prepares decks of 20 slides of weird and interesting images.

There is also a lot of ordinary (or worse) design tarted up by high production values, a lot of hype without substance. Overall, I’m afraid we’re not seeing the level of design awareness we should and need to be.
