Every year there are hundreds of conferences nationwide in the United States dedicated to the elearning industry. You can find instructional design theory being discussed , new tech tools, technology trends, live-training tips, and so much more.

I have checked out the conference program for you so you can see if there is anything of interest for you. What did I learn the last few days at the guild conference? Coming from Europe it does take a lot of time and money to visit a conference like this. This means that we are discussing the future of e-Learning between digital immigrants. Are only the Guild masters present at this conference and did they leave their apprentices at home? Or was this conference representative for the guild population? This was my first Guild conference. For me as a Guild conference newbie this was incredibly helpful, I got in contact with more people than I ever hoped for.
