My Top 10 Tools for Learning 2011

7 – In 2007, I used PBWiki (now known as PBWorks) to build collaboration spaces with my colleagues, now 5 years on Google Docs is my collaboration tool of choice, and defintely on my Top 10 Tools list. I don’t create content in this format anymore, so they are not on my 2011 list.

This makes using something like google docs or pbwiki as an experiment somewhat difficult for the poor, lonely learning professional. How do I use with content I create? Over 50% or organisations in the UK are still on Internet Explorer 6 and I've come across some that restrict javascript and all cookie. I'm not sure I buy this.

Asynchronous Content Sharing / Editing In terms of using these products with remote work teams, Google Spreadsheets seems to have hit the most important items for me. I recommend pbWiki as an easy to use Wiki solution. It resulted in a great learning experience and a quite good resource. Xdrive : Online storage to share files.
