For instance when someone folds her arms and we have an intense conversation, I am also folding my arms. As an example- someone sends you accidentally a message that was intended for another person which means he ( unknowingly ) is thinking about you. Or another example - someone sends a tweet and removes it immediately.

The paper caught my interest because I am a fan of social constructivist theories of learning (think: learning by conversation) and always amazed at how differently people can think about what learning is and what it needs. An example: when I work with Moodle the technology invites me to prepare the course with all sections in advance.

I have been part of Ning groups before, but find it overwhelming, very quickly because there seems to be multiple inputs for information. It sort of feels like a classroom with too much noise and side conversations. Even as an organizer, when I get into the Ning group, I feel overwhelmed. Another set of questions.

People moved ahead of the conversation and updated status notes so we could skip them. Asynchronous Discussion I personally have found that Ning works great as a tool for all sorts of different needs. Creating a new Ning network is very easy and it gives you a lot of what you would want / need as a work team.
