Acquistions – Someone had an idea

Someone came up with the idea to create templates for developing courses quickly – and no, it wasn’t someone from Adobe or Articulate. I was using DazzlerMax and Authorware, which are superior offerings for creating courses. Adobe was the first vendor to use templates to create courses. At the time, I hated it.

Manager Training Online Courses

Thus far I've looked at Element K, SkillSoft, Vital Learning, Ninth House, and Achieve Global. What I like about these providers is the scope of what they offer -- many courses to choose from. I'm looking for vendors who supply off-the-shelf training for basic manager skills such as, time management and delegation.

At one time, it was the biggest brand out there, and a vendor who bought up other well-known content providers such as NetG and ElementK. Skillsoft’s content is a mixed bag. What do you tend find?

Content these days, well, it is an umbrella term to represent courses (micro too), videos, articles, materials, workbooks, other types of learning resources, podcasts and so forth. Heck, even before we had online learning, and courses were CBT (Computer Based Training), you could find 3rd party course providers. .
