Images for Captivate Theme, Dynamic

I am using the Captivate 2019 theme called Dynamic.  I quite like it but need to create couple more master slides where I would need access to the images used to create the theme.  I can see in the library that I have access to the slide images but I was hoping for the original image so that I can manipulate it the way I need.

Does anyone know if, and if so where, I can locate these files?

It might be challenging to find the original photos used to create this theme. However, I would suggest that if you went to your favourite stock photography site, you could see images that are close enough that they would match the look and feel of what you are trying to achieve. I went to Adobe Stock and typed in “White,” “Office,” and “Windows” and got a bunch of images that would work for this theme.

Thanks Paul, I’ll do that.  I really just wanted to know if they were somewhere that I simply wasn’t seeing, but I guess not.

Thank you for your reply. I don’t need to edit the images that are included in the theme master slides, I just want the image that was used to create the master.  In the library, there are the slide images which have been edited already and included in the theme.  Maybe take a look at the theme and see what is in the library to see what I mean.  Thanks!

I did look at the theme. All the images used in the master slide are in the Library in the PNG format.  What do you want more? That is why I asked if you were looking for the uncompressed PSD format? Or maybe RAW?  You’ll not find that.

I could take any of those PNG images and edit them in Photoshop.

Maybe this is what you want, having looked closer at the images.  Some of them have typical photographic effects applied, and you want the completely original image. They are all used as custom backgrounds and the Edit (pencil) icon is dimmed which means that you cannot change the editing in Captivate. Is this what you meant?

Yes, that’s exactly what I wanted – the completely original image.  Sorry if I wasn’t articulating or using the correct terminology.  Am I able to get/use these images?

I suppose they are either taken from the eLearning Brother’s assets or Stock images.  At this moment I have no idea how to recover them from the theme, if I find a way will be back. Sorry for not understanding exactly what you wanted….

Up till now every idea I tested out failed. Sorry. My approach would be to take the images to Photoshop and restore…

It is the only way, from the Library. You can use the ‘Edit with’ option to take them to a graphical application. I don’t know what exactly you mean by ‘original image’?  Do you mean in the original format like psd or ai?

WIll post a link to a short interactive video showing how to edit a character inserted in the Library with Photoshop roundtripping. Reason: if I insert link here, this will take moderation time.
