I gave a workshop about humor, learned a lot about learning culture and got inspiration and pratical tips for gamification and. Furthermore, many sessions focussed on learning culture, gamification, use of video in online learning. The latter appeared to do better on learning culture and workplace learning :).

What's really important is creating a culture of exchange. A strong example of the fact that when culture of working together online is very strong, the tool doesn't really matter. (it What the wikipedians do, is use the wiki they are so familiar to and write in a threaded fashion in the wiki page that seems to work for them.

The power of visuals is that it involves another part of the brain, which influences the directions of discussions. Visuals are engaging, by engaging both emotions and invoking sense-making.

In the Netherlands for instance there is the KBlab chatbot who will send you a piece of art from the Dutch Cultural Heritage collection every day with some explanation. There are bots who can show you new things and teach you something like about art. Language bots. To learn a language you can converse with bots in your preferred language.
