2) The training was intense but not a big deal because I had integrated it into my normal routine. In an organization, training is rarely the “life” of anyone outside of the learning and development department. Learning and development professionals need to embrace metrics and statistics.

Some interesting developments in the 3D Learning and Collaboration Space. First, it looks as though Linden Labs, the developers behind Second Life, may be downsizing their corporate efforts ( Second Life Enterprise Edition ). Interesting development. While this has not been totally verified by dozens of data sources.

These questions need to be answered so there is a clear path toward developing outcomes other than just “entertainment” or because “it’s cool.”

We are at an interesting cross-roads in terms of educational game development, we really haven’t had engaging, imagination capturing titles like the golden years of “Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego or Oregon Trail” which were blockbuster educational games. And, notice that they even work in some history lessons.
