I didn’t get to attend the Adobe Summit or DevLearn 2008 this week in San Jose, CA, and I’m totally jealous of everyone who got a sneak peek of Adobe Captivate 4.
Thankfully, Philip Hutchison posted an excellent overview of all the new features on his pipwerks blog . Captivate 4 will be part of the new Adobe eLearning Suite .

DevLearn 2010 Conference & Expo - November - San Francisco, CA DevLearn 2008 Conference & Expo - November 10-14 - San Jose, C Its no secret that I'm a big fan of virtual environments, interactive3D, or whatever you want to call them. My biggest frustration has been waiting to see the acceptance of Virtual Immersive training Environments.

DevLearn is coming up. But, as a reader of this blog, you should drop a comment if you are going to DevLearn and I'll try to let you know when we are getting together. In the past, this has been quite a bit of fun (see DevLearn - Beer - Who's In? - Looking forward to seeing folks at DevLearn. I just took a quick look on the eLearningGuild site and DevLearnis looking good again this year. My guess is that I'll be getting together with a few folks there to have a drink and discuss things like eLearning 2.0 (yeah, we know how to have fun).
