Your customers will only need Adobe's free Flash Player on their computers to watch and interact with the lesson. and choose DHTML > Create Drop-down Hotspot and Text. At this point, your RoboHelp topic will contain a large box that won't look much like the Captivate video you published. No worries.

ToolBook authoring tool - this is the DHTML authoring tool used at my company, but prior to this I used TrainerSoft (now Outstart Trainer), which is my preference. Please feel free to share what is in your toolbox or any recommendations on tools I should add. Adobe Fireworks - editing graphics. Windows MovieMaker - editing WMV files.

Keep in mind some may be DHTML output, others create Flash SWFs. HTML/HTML5 : Learning HTML will come in very handy, especially if your WBT tool creates DHTML files, which you may need to edit at times. Many tools have trial periods or are free. By 2015, I am sure many will create HTML5 files too.
