Development Tools - Should I Cut Out the Middle Guy?

It has gotten to a point where some of my courses are all developed in Flash and the e-learning authoring tools (DHTML) have been used more as a "shell" that decompiles it as a SCORM package. The learning interactions can be used for multiple types of quiz questions that will be tracked by a learning management system (LMS).

SCORM Implementation For Mobile Devices

SCORM has provisions to track time spent by the user in session. Normally the setTimeOut() function is used to track time. If you are targeting such a browser time tracking may not happen. But on a mobile device there is no guarantee of continuous connectivity and this may lead to issues with SCORM tracking.

Keeping Up - April's Big Question

I also like to make occasional visits to Google Labs and Adobe Labs to "keep up" with the tech tools they are working on and to test drive any beta versions available. It sounded interesting and I have heard rumors that one of the armed services in the U.S. Webtop is built on OpenLaszlo, which is an advanced Ajaxdevelopment platform. alone duringthe first half 2007.
