The question is usually ‘what can I do to ensure that the CEO or Director views L&D as a strategic business tool and not another also-ran support function’. Ideally this board is chaired by the CEO or Director of the organisation but, if not, then the CFO, COO or HR Director. Innovation leads to business value creation.
