It’s not new, it’s been the basis of wikis (e.g. Google Docs), but it’s central. I’ve been a fan of wikis since I first heard about them, and think that they’ll be the basis for communities to continue to evolve, as well as being the basis for effective team work.

Learning Professionals Leaders

This makes using something like google docs or pbwiki as an experiment somewhat difficult for the poor, lonely learning professional. How can you apply them to your existing systematic learning system if you don't know what the heck wiki even means? Nobody cared about wikis until wikipedia came along. I'm not sure I buy this.

New Work and New Work Skills

I'm good at collaboratively working with virtual work teams and use Google Docs or a Wiki as appropriate in these situations My strong belief is that the foundations of knowledge work are changing fairly quickly and most of us learn completely through ad hoc mechanisms that are not likely to yield good coverage.
