MATRIX is the corporate version, NEO is EdTech, Indie is for training providers. Docebo Flow is intriguing, another add-on. Docebo Connect, another add-on is very cool, but not a fit for everyone. Far more than the book they provide. All three are virtually the same system, just an fyi. Metrics out of the box are okay.

Docebo is on some of these sites noting “free” with open source mentioned. Docebo did at one time, offer free open source, but that was nearly a decade ago, and it hasn’t been such a way, in uh, like a decade ago. Docebo – Fee-based. Then there is Dokeos, which doesn’t offer anything free.

They do not get access to the code, mind you, just the algorithm provides the flexibility, otherwise, the vendor is telling you, they know more about your training or L&D then you – I really dislike that philosophy. Nor do I like that the metrics that come out of the box with Docebo Learn are poor and the visualization bad. Even though plenty of others did.

Docebo was the first vendor to have the content marketplace visually seen, a very modern UI/UX, one-click buy and go into your system for content/courses – regardless of whether you bought them. Despite the mass size of the marketplace, there are only a few 3rd party providers that really are the ones folks are buying. . L&D is heavily in the employee side of the house, I surmise that less than 2% are providing B2B/B2C, especially if revenue generation plays a role. Mobile app is good. Metrics is a bit of a mix.
