So i have been working on an e-Learning Methodology Toolkit – basically a set of documents and templates that will help my team structure the way they work – improving the overall analysis, design and deliverables we produce ! can’t say i have created all the documents from scratch – i have gathered some and produced others. Part of my role here at work is to put a bit of structure into our e-learning development process.  Not to mention reduce our timeframes for development !!

We produced 10 e-learning modules in 2 languages, support documentation, trainer packs, and an updated e-campus site in under 2 months ! The solution consisted of a suite of support documents and e-learning lessons (4 main components: Pre work e-Learning, Trainings, Practical Labs and After Care Support) to support the immediate rollout and future trainings by the business trainers and by the champions out in the business. The first project i handled was quite a complex one – supporting the rollout of a new system to users across The Netherlands.  Lots of work !

Because we already got good audio, and our screen was recorded in sync with it, when we are ready to do our editing, all we have to do is import the files into Camtasia Studio and clip the beginning and end of the document! This week's Time Saver Tuesday comes from Nick Kwiatkowski! Nick's been using Camtasia Studio to record a live event in Lansing, Michigan called IgniteLansing .

Tags: Wikis documentation eLearning Guild Learning Solutions This weekend I was imagining a conversation between two people about the benefits of a wiki. This overlaps quite a bit with the reasons in my article, but it’s a more fun

There are a lot of softwares out there for document sharing. The UI is beautifully done and it gives the user/reader the impression he can almost scroll through the pages of a document. Although Issuu offers some interactivity (sharing, bookmarking, commenting) it is a pity they only accept pdf-documents. Just take a look at the educause But graphically speaking Issuu says it all. For a complete range of formats you need to go to Scribd or ...
