Keeping these principles in mind, I am going to start creating one page “Cheat Sheets,” rather than long documents covering everything under the sun regarding the topic. By keeping the job aids down to one page and laying out the information in a more user friendly format I can get much better results.

Once I figured this out I jumped into creating a Cron Job using instructions from the Moodle Documentation Wiki. I think I may have missed something in the moodle installation that automatically creates the Cron Job because I didn't have one created on my hosted server.

This post has reinforced that often fancy animations can distract from the content of an eLearning course and in many cases you are better off using static images and in some cases you may be just as effective using a solution as simple as a PDF document.

This is much better than emailing around several versions of a document. . · Meeting Agenda – Using a Wiki for a meeting agenda is a great way to collaborate on the content of the meeting. A wiki would allow each contributor to edit the agenda. At this point I have more ideas of how to use a Wiki then I have time to implement.

I was hoping to be able to upload the zipped SCORM package to a document library in Sharepoint 03 but that didn't work out so well. So far I have been very impressed with Course Lab especially since it is a free product. However, Course Lab is useless if I cannot make the courses available to anybody.

Prior to the games it was always memorizing info from documents and flash cards then being tested on it. I used Quia to create a few games that resemble “Who wants to be a millionaire” and “Jeopardy” which turned out to be a smash hit amongst the sales staff.
