Looking over the tutorial, I wondered if I could follow the steps to recreate the icon in PowerPoint. Obviously the steps are a bit different and since PowerPoint is not as robust as Illustrator, you have some limitations. However, with all that said, it proves that PowerPoint can be an effective graphics tool when building your rapid elearning courses. Another benefit to this exercise is learning to use PowerPoint in new ways. While you may never need this envelope icon, if you practice building it, you will learn how to use PowerPoint’s features.
