Speaking of the guru awards, I was looking at the source files for the CPR demo and was impressed to see that it only contained twenty PowerPoint slides. For the most part it’s all PowerPoint. The first slide is a Flash animation and the CPR simulation was created in Quizmaker ‘09. But that’s not the case.

PowerPoint’s designed as a presentation tool. While the application is versatile and great for elearning, many people still struggle to get past the PowerPoint look because the features are designed to encourage the use of the templates. So when you want to build a quiz, you use Quizmaker.

All of the animations should remain intact if you’re using PowerPoint 2007+. Let’s be honest, many of the free PowerPoint templates that come with PowerPoint don’t really work for our courses.
