The EHSS Learning & Development Coordinator is responsible for developing, enhancing, and standardizing environmental, health, safety, and security (EHSS) learning and development programs to elevate EHSS leadership capability and reduce EHSS risk. This includes taking a learning concept from an idea, through design and scripting, to complete a fully deliverable training program with current media technology. This position will collaborate with subject matter experts (SME), operations personnel, and other key stakeholders for the ongoing development of EHSS training programs. The candidate must be able to utilize the Learning Management System (LMS) to publish, maintain, assign, and track training. The ideal candidate has strengths in instructional design, building partnerships with SMEs, excellent communication skills, strong project management skills, and has the ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, execute, manage, and monitor learning and development programs and activities from conception to implementation.
  • Effectively communicate across numerous geographic regions and align with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams on training processes and expectations, and collaborate on training projects/programs/rollouts, etc.
  • Develop and create effective training and engagement programs that are aligned with business objectives and industry standards.
  • Build the learning and development program to include different styles of training experiences including e-learning, group training, collaborative training, and/or coaching.
  • Track and analyze EHSS data, reports, and recommend projects to improve employee engagement and enhance EHSS performance.
  • Plan, organize and manage key training events and communication activities.
  • Manage the EHSS website landing pages.
  • Assist in the evaluation, selection, and management of e-learning content.
  • Support review and implementation of EHSS management system through learning and development programs.
  • Partner with contributors and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure training programs are functional, technically accurate, and launched properly.
  • Manage version control within the documentation to ensure the most up-to-date documentation is in circulation.
  • Partner with EHSS team to monitor facility/team trends with the incident occurrence, employee feedback, and continuous improvement projects to anticipate and proactively fill training/knowledge gaps appropriately.
  • Schedule and coordinate training classes to meet customer demand as requested.
Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of experience designing and facilitating learning and development programs and initiatives.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Articulate Software, Audio Editing, SharePoint, and Learning Management Systems.
    5+ years of experience developing e-learn courses.
  • Experienced in cross-functional collaboration across multiple teams and experience working independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated experience as a team-oriented self-starter, eager to meet and exceed objectives, with the ability to handle a multi-project environment.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in environmental or safety science or other EHSS related area; or equivalent plus a minimum of 5 years of directly related training development experience with a working knowledge of EHSS programs.
  • Experience dealing with ambiguity, operating in a complex work environment, and solving problems with limited oversight.
  • Actively pursues professional development efforts to better meet internal customer expectations.
