Adding emojis to content.
How do you add an emoticon as part of the text of your Captivate file? As though someone were texting another person and putting in a 
at the end of the sentence?

AFAIK that is not possible out of the box. Since you need to use websafe fonts or Typekit fonts to make sure that every learner will see fonts as you designed them. For responsive projects this has to be generated on runtime.
A workaround could be to create the text and convert it to an image (SVG is well suited) and insert as image.
