The COVID-19 pandemic has brought about a paradigm shift in the way the world is doing business today, and the way forward.
A part of the new normal will include less physical interactions between people—more and more people will be working remotely. Trainings, too, have and will, move to virtual platforms—people who have been delivering face to face training for so long have to learn new ways to deliver their training.
This session is aimed at enabling SMEs and trainers, who have been traditionally delivering training in classrooms, to transition to online methods of delivery. We shall discuss the nuances, advantages, and pitfalls of online training, and explore ways to make online training effective.
The focus will be on structuring and presenting content in a way conducive to online delivery, and on using tools and techniques of Instructional Design to improve content delivery.
