Free eLearning illustrated characters not found in Media/Characters in Captivate 2019 with latest update done in March this year.  Where are the downloads going, and I do  access to import to a Captivate Project?

I followed the instructions in 2019 version.  They were supposed to go to eLearning Assets/Media/Characters.  I did not find them there.

Maybe a misunderstanding or not well explained (I never read ‘instructions’, too many bugs). To insert the downloaded character you need to use the Media button in Captivate, Characters and open the category Assets.

On your system (I am on Windows) you’ll find the downloaded images under

C:\Users\Public\Documents\Adobe\eLearning Assets\Characters_11_0\Assets\Assets\Images\High  or Low

BTW, maybe you would like to have a look at these posts:

The first one talks about the location of the downloaded characters as well. Two more articles are in preparation: editing a photographic character in PS, and using source PSD files to have several poses of characters in one file to be imported into Captivate.

Do you mean that you don’t see the downloaded characters in the Characters dialog box? Did you install the eLearning Assets, and did you download the characters using that dialog box? I know there were issues with the first version of CP2017, but CP2019 should work fine. I have version 11.0.1.266.
